The Ukrainian customs officers have entered for carriers new rules of entrance from territory of the European Union

Henceforth a firm-addressee of cargoes should inform customs bodies about intention to import a cargo beforehand. In the electronic letter it is necessary to specify the information on an addressee, a sender, and also quantity of names and goods cost.

Documents are placed in the Uniform automated information system of the State Customs Service. Without it customs officers give out to carriers a refusal card of cargo passing and return a car outside the Ukrainian border.

Drivers complain: now there will be superfluous efforts and unplanned charges on parking and meal as sometimes it is necessary to wait for documents up to full day.

The innovation is not distributed to transit cargoes. More rigid control over import of goods to Ukraine will help to avoid smuggling, customs officers are sure. Such rules already operate in of the European Union countries for a long time.
