assets/images/get_news_img.jpgAs of 12 o'clock in the afternoon on January, 23 about 3 tens of ships are accumulated on spot-check of the Odessa port. As main dispatcher of the SE "ОCSP" Ruslan Sahautdinov has informed, the reason of the force-majeur situation is an aggravation of navigating conditions. East winds up to 14 km/s have increased heaving of the sea up to 4 points that complicates landing of pilots onboard ships and makes a work of tows unsafe. Besides that, some day in succession the gulf is periodically covered by a dense fog.

- The density of a white fog veil is sometimes of such kind, that the main vessel's deck, 294 m length, is visible from running cabin only up to the middle, - R.Sahautdinov comments. - Last days ther port dispatchers together with a pilotage service of the SE "Delta-pilot" exert best efforts for the prompt normalization of the situation. For the night long 12 free pilotages have been made (mostly on releasing of berths from the ships expecting for a departure. At present already 4 pilots moore ships in the sequence stipulated by obligatory decisions and the Odessa port code of customs, and also in view of the line container ships priority. The general management of the operation is carried out by 1-st deputy port general manager Yuriy Vaskov...
